Interface Allowing Two-Way RS232 control (i.e. AMX or Crestron). All CPUs

A Living Control multi-room system is controlled by either a DisplayPad or a VideoPad in many instances. The alternative Smart RS provides full operation by means of a serial control interface.

The Smart RS is a dedicated RS232 interface, capable of two-way communication between a Living Control CPU and any interface capable of generating and receiving ASCII commands.

When the location of a DisplayPad or VideoPad does not provide the ideal line of sight for remote operation, the IR Gate will allow discreet IR receivers to be used.

An IR receiver can be connected either directly, or via the emitter output of its terminating unit.

Use In-Room Power Amps And Active Speakers With RoomBox 6 / VX.

The Sound Launcher permits the use of remotely located power amplifiers with the RoomBox 6 / VX CPUs.

Conventional, unbalanced, variable line-level outputs are not designed to transfer signals over long distances. The Sound Launcher adapts the outgoing signal to maintain signal integrity and gain through distances of up to 150 metres to enable the use of local power amplifiers or active speakers with all compatible Living Control systems.

Fixed and variable outputs are supported.

A B&O Beolink Output is also provided enabling the use of Beolab speakers, full power switching is supported.

Designed specifically for the RoomBox 4 / 6 / VX controllers, the RF Interface Module receives commands from the RF Keypads and sends these to the RoomBox controllers.

When a wired multi-room keypad is not a practical proposition, Living Control’s RF Pad system provides an elegant wireless alternative.

Simply plug the RF Module into the back of either the RoomBox 4 or 6 controller and the RF commands transmitted by each in-room RF-Pad will provide you with source selection, volume level and basic component control.

One RF module will control up to six zones. Multiple RF-Pads can be used in each room.

The RF Pad is capable of transmitting commands through walls and ceilings to the LC-RF module located up to 15 metres away. For very large properties an optional booster will extend this range to over 100 metres!

Whether used as your primary control system or as an extension to wired keypads, Living Control’s RF Pad system will provide music control virtually anywhere you wish.
